Mit ihrem guten Namen engagieren sich viele Prominente für Sternstunden und notleidende Kinder: Schauspieler Heiner Lauterbach und seine Frau Viktoria haben ein Herzensprojekt in ihrer unmittelbaren Nachbarschaft am Starnberger See gefunden. Im Kinderheim südSee e.V. werden in kleinsten Gruppen Kinder und Jugendliche betreut, die das Jugendamt nicht in den Herkunftsfamilien belassen konnte. Nun ist ein Erweiterungsbau geplant.

Pampers supports UNICEF since 2006 in the " 1 pack = 1 life-saving vaccine dose * " campaign to defeat tetanus among newborns. Thus, in period from October to December 2010 Pampers donates an amount to UNICEF , which corresponds , for example, the cost of one vaccine dose. This is valid for each pack that is sold with the campaign's logo.
As ambassadors of the project Heiner and Victoria Lauterbach traveled to the Democratic Republic of Congo in early August to form their own personal opinion and impression on the local daily battle against tetanus. They visited health centers , spoke with doctors , midwives and affected mothers. Back in Germany they want to use their prominence to call public attention to this horrible disease and to be able to contribute and support the mothers and their babies to receive the help they so desperately need.
* With every purchase of a Pampers pack with the UNICEF logo, P & G donates 0,053 Euros to UNICEF to help vaccinate women of reproductive age which live in a developing country against tetanus . This amount equals the costs of one tetanus vaccine dose.

The Tribute to Bambi foundation together with Mercedes-Benz provided a Smart car to the social institution KITz, in Munich. Thus, the professionals who support and help traumatized children and adolescents are able to help quickly and independent of time and place.
The vehicle was handed over by actor Heiner Lauterbach and Patricia Riekel, editor in chief of BUNTE magazine.
